We are proud to collaborate with Glynis, who is a seasoned educator and clinical hypnotherapist with more than thirty years experience. She is renowned for integrating evidence-based techniques with emotional intelligence to train effective, ethical therapists. Glynis blends traditional psychotherapy with modern unconscious processing methods for transformative outcomes. Her strengths-based approach to hypnotherapy education is highly respected both nationally and internationally.

Glynis also founded the Mind Care Global Network for postgraduate supervision and professional development. Heather Fountain
With more than 12 years of dedicated practice in hypnotherapy and psychotherapy, Heather Fountain is a highly respected therapist, educator, and visionary leader in the field of mind-body healing. She has built her career around helping individuals overcome emotional and psychological challenges, while also shaping the next generation of professional hypnotherapists.
Heather holds a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Applied Psychotherapy, and an Advanced Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy, Applied Psychotherapy, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).

She also earned an Advanced Level Practitioner’s Certificate through the South African Modern Hypnosis Academy (SAMHA), and was honoured with the Angela Thorpe Trophy for Hypnotherapist of the Year in 2021 in recognition of her outstanding contribution to Hypnotherapy South Africa. In addition, she holds a Certificate of Competency to Counsel an Individual in a Structured Environment through ETDP SETA, which reinforces her ability to deliver professional and ethical counselling within accredited frameworks. Heather’s academic background includes Higher Diplomas in Business Management, Credit Management, Human Resource Management, Strategic Management, and Executive Management. This broad and strategic education empowers her to mentor students not only in clinical technique but also in entrepreneurial growth and leadership.

Derek Vorster
Derek Vorster, co-founder of Hypnotherapy Training College Africa, is integral to its academic and operational development. With a Degree in Business Management, a National Diploma in Education, Training and Development Practices, and an Advanced Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Applied Psychotherapy from HTCA, he brings a unique blend of strategic, educational, and therapeutic expertise. Derek is deeply involved in coordination, administration, and training, ensuring high-quality delivery across all areas. He excels in designing learner-centered educational content, much of which forms the backbone of the college’s curriculum. His calm focus, technical precision, and dedication to the learning process have helped shape a supportive and effective training environment.
Derek’s background allows him to guide students through both academic development and the practical challenges of a hypnotherapy career. As the college grows, he remains committed to accessible, ethical education that empowers future practitioners throughout Africa.
